The hotel offers 2 types of hot spring with different water quality: Yakushi Hot Spring, and Shin-Hirayu Hot Spring. The open-air rock baths are filled with Yakushi Hot Spring characterized by its smooth touch,
while the indoor baths feature the Shin-Hirayu Hot Spring with a coarse texture.
Enjoy the different types of waters.

The open-air bath offers views of natural scenery, and during the winter, you can enjoy the scenery of snow and ice while soaking in the warm bath.
The large bath is equipped with a spacious bathtub and plenty of showers.
Thermal bathing has a long history, and is known for the medical benefits bestowed by the minerals that are contained within the springs.

The word "Washoku" has been registered to UNESCO's List of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
Washoku is offered at our ryokan. Okuhida is famous for its wagyu (Hida beef) and fruits of the mountains.
If you have any requests regarding food due to allergies or religious reasons, please advise us at least one week prior to your stay.

Taste the natural savoriness of the local delicacy, Hida beef, just as it is - in a steak. Our specialty is buckwheat porridge.

We offer a selection of locally produced ingredients, like Okuhida salmon, miso soup made with our homemade Yakushi miso, and dishes using Okuhida's locally produced Japanese pepper. Relish in our uniquely special heartfelt meals.
